Our intentions for this 5k run/walk are to help raise awareness to the growing problem that is sexual assault. Approximately 321,500 people are sexually assaulted in the United States every year. This statistic has led us to name this event 5k for 321.5k. To further contribute, we will be donating all earnings from this event to BrightHouse. BrightHouse is a non-profit organization located in Hutchinson, Kansas that helps people who are dealing with sexual assault and domestic abuse. All paid entries will receive a t-shirt. Registrations submitted by November 12th, 2018 are guaranteed a t-shirt before Race Day. Registrations submitted after November 12th, 2018 may receive a t-shirt before race day subject to availability. No guarantee of size. We will be having pick-up the day before the race. Stay tuned for times and place. Upon arrival to the event, designated tables will be set up where you will need to check-in. Following check-in, we will give a short introduction and the run/walk will begin soon after. This will not be a timed race. To conclude the event we will be providing drinks and snacks.
